This page is divided into two sections: The first one contains patches for the latest stable release of slrn that can be used to fix known bugs. The second section contains the current unstable code, which should only be used by developers and experienced users.
If you consider contributing code, please have a look at the guidelines for doing so first. For those who want to do a translation, I put down some brief notes as well as a list of existing translations.

Bugfixes

Get marked bodies when no new headers are present

Added 2004-10-10

When slrnpull finds that a group contains no new headers, it immediately proceeds to the next group instead of checking for marked article bodies. This patch fixes the problem.

Don't eat last character of articles when posting

Changed 2004-11-06

When the editor does not put a newline character at the end of the last line, slrn would eat the last character of the article when posting.

Developer preview of slrn 0.9.8.2 as a .tar.gz

Released 2005-02-17

This is a public preview release of slrn 0.9.8.2. It can optionally be built using slang-1 or slang-2. A full list of changes is available here. As always, please don't package this version; it is meant for developers and brave beta testers only :-) If you want to be even more up-to-date, you can always get the latest sources from public CVS. Please report any bugs you may find, so they can get fixed before the final release. If you are a translator, please see if you can find the time to send me an updated version of your po file.
